Fasion find - The reformation

Voici une marque de vêtements que je viens tout juste de découvrir: The Reformation. Voyant de plus en plus de publicités pour cette compagnie toute fraîche sur les internet, je n'ai pu m'empêcher d'aller jeter un coup d’œil à leur boutique en ligne. Leurs collections sont, ma foi, tellement rafraîchissantes et brillantes à la fois, tout comme leur mission de respecter l'environnement en récupérant le plus de matériaux vintage. Le résultat: des robes vaporeuses, des jupes élégantes et des jumpsuits aux coupes originales. J'adore tout simplement chacun des morceaux présentés par cette compagnie, mais l'originalité et la considération de l'environnement ont un prix (assez élevé pour mon portefeuille, mais tout de même assez abordable quand on cherche une belle robe qui vaille la peine pour un événement important). À voir tout simplement pour ces collections uniques et inspirantes!

Here's a fashion brand that I just discovered: The Reformation. Seeing more and more ads of this very fresh company on the internet, I couldn't help myself taking a look at their online store. The collections are so fresh and brilliant at the same time, just like their mission to be an environmentally substainable fashion brand that repurposes vintage materials. The result: vaporous dresses, elegant skirts and jumpsuits with original cuts. I just love all of the pieces presented by the company, but the originality and awareness of the environment have a price (to high for my wallet, but still quite affordable when looking for a pretty dress that's worth for an important event). To see absolutely for their unique and inspiring collections!

Cette semaine, c'est en écoutant Entertainment de Phoenix, mon groupe coup de cœur festival cet été (car oui, je les ai vu au festival Osheaga à Montréal il y a une semaine), que je vous présente non pas une, mais bien 3 wishlits d'inspiration Festivals! Trois wishlists pour trois looks différents, de festivals tout aussi différents.

This week, it's while listening to Entertainment by Phoenix, my big festival crush this summer (because yes, I saw them at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal a week ago), that I present to you not one, but three fesrtival-inspired wishlits! Three wishlists for three different looks and three different festivals as well. Take a look!

POLYVORE SET: Maude

Embroidered kimono jacket from Topshop, flower headband from Modcloth, Tart deco nail polish from Essie, daisy print cutout dress from Topshop, tortoise cat-eye sunglasses from Thierry Lasry, straw shoulder bag from Oasis, chunky heeled sandals from Windsor Smith.

Le première, pour le festival Coachella, propose un look californien coloré et très féminin. Avec des touches boho et beaucoup de fleurs! Ce kimono et cette robe fleurie de chez Topshop constituent la base parfaite pour un look de festival en plein désert de Californie. La couronne de fleurs, le sac fourre-tout en paille et les grosses lunettes cat-eye complètement merveilleusement bien cet ensemble. Ne manque plus que la musique sous le soleil et les palmiers!

The first, for the Coachella festival, offers a colorful Californian look and very feminine pieces. With boho touches and lots of flowers! This kimono and this flowery dress from Topshop are the perfect base for a festival look in the California desert. The flower crown, straw tote bag and cat-eye sunglasses complete wonderfully well this set. There's only missing some music under the sun and palm trees!

La deuxième, pour le festival Bonnaroo qui a lieu sur une ferme du Tennessee, suggère un ensemble d'inspirations cowgirl. Cette blouse et ces clips de col aux accents western créent un look parfait pour ce festival, sans oublier les bottes chelsea et le sac à dos de cuir Madewell. C'est pour quand le rodéo?

The second, for the Bonnaroo festival that takes place on a farm in Tennessee, suggests a set of cowgirl inspirations. This blouse and these collar clips with western accents create a perfect look for this festival, not to mention the chelsea boots and leather backpack from Madewell. So when is the rodeo?

Round hippie sunglasses from OC Shades, felt fedora from Yves Saint-Laurent, polka dot crop blouse from Motelrocks, leopard print shoulder bag from Dolce & Gabbana, army jacket from H&M, high-waisted denim shorts from Levi's, Be legendary lipstick from Smashbox, jelly sandals from Debenhams.

La troisième, pour le festival Glastonbury, présente un look rock très approprié pour cet événement qui a lieu dans la campagne anglaise. Le manteau style armée de chez H&M et ces shorts de jean destroy semblent être des incontournables pour ce festival. Sans oublier le chapeau à larges bords ou ces sandales Jelly, parfaites pour se salir les pieds dans la boue. Le rouge à lèvre et le petit sac léopard ajoutent une touche funky au look final. Bon festival!

The third, for the Glastonbury festival, presents a rock look very suitable for this event which takes place in the English countryside. The army jacket from H&M and these destroy denim shorts seem to be essential for this festival. Not to forget the wide-brimmed hat or the Jelly sandals, perfect for dirty feet in the mud. Bright red lipstick and leopard shoulder bag add a funky touch to the final look. Have a good festival!

Design - Apartment of a clothing designer

Je dois vous avouer que ce joli appartement de la créatrice de vêtements derrière la compagnie Up the Wooden Hills m'a totalement charmé. En effet, le petit logement de la suédoise Lisa Marie Andersson, capturé par l’œil de la talentueuse photographe Sofia Byström, tombe tout à fait dans mes goûts avec ses multiples accessoires et bibelots de toutes sortes. Son décor bohémien et personnalisé dégage un côté naïf et joyeux qui plaît instantanément à mes yeux ébahis. Avec ses couleurs pastel, la décoration de la designer est agrémentée par une multitude de plantes vertes et un mobilier ainsi qu'un plancher de bois très chaleureux. Tout comme la philosophie de la ligne de vêtements suédoise Up the Wooden Hills, cet appartement fait ressentir la joie, la beauté et le confort. Un décor enjoué qui fait rêver, tout comme la collection!

I must admit that this lovely apartment of clothing designer behind the company Up the Wooden Hills totally charmed me. Indeed, the small flat from this Swedish designer, Lisa Marie Andersson, captured by the eye of the talented photographer Sofia Byström, is absolutely gorgeous with its multiple accessories and ornaments of all kinds. Its bohemian and personalized decor exudes a cheerful and naive side that appeals instantly my wondering eyes. With its pastel colors, the decor is complemented by a variety of green plants and warm wooden furniture and flooring. Just like the philosophy of the Swedish clothing label Up the Wooden Hills, this apartment experiences happiness, beauty and comfort. A playful and dreamy, just like the collection!
